Repertory search

Finding correct repertory rubrics is vital for successful repertorization. The difference between electronic repertories and the ones printed on paper is mostly the convenience of searching for information. When working with the book, you can spend some time looking for a necessary rubric and still fail to find it, while electronic versions usually offer search facilities of various kinds.

Homeopathy Pro offers a sophisticated repertory search tool with two available types of search. With our program, you can view rubrics of interest one by one right in the repertory section, or view the whole list of corresponding rubrics in the separate section of search results.

The search syntax of Homeopathy Pro is very simple. Just enter a word or several words into the corresponding textbox and press the search button or hit Enter key. Or, you can even enter a part of the word or parts of several words to find a broader set of rubrics. For example, if you enter “persp” into the search box, our program will find all the rubrics containing “perspiration”, “perspire” and “perspiring”.

You can also use our search engine as a powerful remedy research tool. Just enter “@” followed by the short name of the remedy into the search box, and the program will find all the rubrics containing this remedy. You can also specify the grade of the remedy of interest to narrow down your search. For example, if you enter “@lach>2” into the search box, our program will find all rubrics containing Lachesis in third grade.

You can combine remedy search with word search for more specific results. For example, “@lyc fear” will return all fears typical of a Lycopodium patient.

If you have any questions on searching the repertory, just write a message to our support service and we’ll provide you with a more detailed explanation on how to use our search engine for your needs.
